(like now when it's only 4 degrees outside..) who wouldn't think about South California!! Or A warm place like it!!

Take a vacation....To Juneau, AK!!! But before you make those airplane reservations... (Do you hunt or fish??) If you fish... Come in the Spring!!! May or June.... (Great King Salmon Fishing!!) If you hunt..... Come in the Fall!!! Oct or Nov........(or even better, if you can stand the weather.. Nov or Dec is better...) Juneau. is a great place!!!! Summer or Winter!!!

great job,mark.i'm a boeing backeaster who has been to seattle a few times on business and always look to return.my favorite spot ? sitting down on mt. ranier at about 9,000 ft. and wondering what it's all about!

I grew up in Kirkland so you could say I'm a surburbian brat. I now live in Derry in Northern Ireland where I teach elelmentary school in a little village called Sion Mills. Your site brought back great memories of growing up on Puget Sound, going through the locks on our tugboat and the mountains reminded me of many days spent skiing up at Alpental. The fort at Port Townsend was a favorite day trip-climbing around the location of the Officer and A Gentleman's shooting. My girls are teenagers now and all four say they would still love to move back to Washington!!!! We live in Atlanta, GA and love it here, but WA will always be special.

Hello, I am originally from Florida but have been living in Seattle for the past 12 years. It is beautiful up here. I am going to be moving back down to Florida this summer (97) and I am happy to know that I can keep in touch with Seattle through this web site. Had elderly family members in Seattle, but last uncle recently departed (permanently, if you know what I mean). So, will have to take up the search on my own. Returned in June from 4 mos. study in Europe based in Florence, Italy)with frequent "side-trips" to Scotland, land of wonderfully gray skies.Made me realize I couldn't stay in CA any longer, and as don't see myself moving to GB anytime soon, decided to turn to similar Seattle. Its where the family once lived, so why not start there again?! Besides, the music scene down here stinks. In any event (probably more than you wanted to know, sorry), thanks for the page and links info. Making my job to secure employment and housing much easier and a lot more enjoyable. So, hopefully sooner than later, I and cat will be transplanted a lifetime away from this hellish heat pit.
