Really cool dude, I'll be back!
Hi, neighbor. Nice boat. Gonna take that downhill run soon?
Beautiful, brings back memories. Any shots of Deception Pass?
Congratulations!
I am at a loss for words to compliment you on your incredible web pages. It certainly is one of the best of over thousands I have visited over the past several months.
Have you ever submitted your pages to the Cool Site of the Day? If not, you should.
Nice layout and great links. Nice job Marko!
I love the sound of the sound
Just checking in.
Cool!
nice colors
Nice job Mark.
I'm not from seattle and I'm not really interested in seattle I'm just sitting here getting lost in my computer. Thanx for the scenes.
Thats a seriously crazy loft you got going there, I'm starting to like Seattle. Are all places like that in Seattle, or are you the only phunky cat there.
Thanks for the beautiful page Mark. Happy Sailing! Einar
Visual pleasure!
Fun page. Like the pics. Screen saver stuff.
Just getting a taste of home while going to school here in Iowa. Great pics, and nice loft! Do I get to live like that when I graduate?
I'm so glad to see such nice scenes. I want to go there. Thanx, Mark and Cleo!
Just got back from my first trip to Seattle and I miss it already. Thanks for letting me get a fix.
Excellent work, "dude" (which is short for "my dear and not so very old friend"). Thanks for the tour!
p.s. If you ever want any help out there, give me a shout!
Hey Mark, great web site! Now I know what you've been doing with your spare time. If you hear of any cool jobs out there, let me know. Happy Sailing!
Of course I expected nothing less than the best to come my home town of Seattle. It's nice to know that even though I'm living in Iceland for now, I can always visit home and see if it's raining or not. And thanks to Mark I can even see the ferry go by! Thanx!
So how many cameras you got, man? It's pretty cool that you're willing to sacrifice them to our benefit. Thanks. I live in Seattle too, and I love every minute of it. Lately it has been absolutely raining like no tomorrow and it's been too long since it hasn't! Do you find your cheoy lee slow and heavy? (Mark replys: No, it rocks!) I find them very comfortable, but not very speedy, they sure are nice when you get to where your going... Hope you keep the cameras rolling and keep collecting the cool shots.
i have a friend who was a little homesick... thanks for the cyber - trip home !
where are they??????
Mark, you are one wacky techno freak! I can only hope that someday I'll have a web page as nicely layed out as yours. Nice crib too by the way!
Great page! I like the camera idea. I want one of my marina!
Love to visit Seattle and looking at your page just makes me want to go back. Great page!
Hey! Seattle native here (but I'm far away at school). Loved your pages-the photo of Elliot Bay especially. Nice to see home!
Nice boat, nice page.
SO Some of us in the SF Bay Area would prefer the amenities of the Seattle area, and maybe someday ...
Just popped in to visit a friend's home area. Can't meet her in person, thought this would be nice. Beautiful country - I'm a sailor so can see all kinds of wonderful sailing possibilities. Thanks.
Good job!
Great page of info and pics, from Washington, looking for pictures of home and this hit the spot Thanks
Outstanding space needle picture! I wonder how long it took them to rewire it after it shorted out... ;-)
Great site! I'm adding it to my home page.
My virgin run and I found you! Probably never be able to repeat.
Magnificent! Your site ought to come with a warning for those of us who are living in the swamps of the Gulf Coast, pinin' for the fjords!
Good looking girl looking for a charter.....I like Cleo too.
Looking at pictures of your loft and the Sound makes me reminisce about Seattle. Thanks for the pictures.
I grew up in Seattle, and have been landlocked in Oregon too long. Thanks for the cam work. -m2
Great pics,
We are down here in the California desert. Lots of sun but no fresh seafood!
The REAL Homer is here! Great work.
Outstanding pages with a great mix of topics. I'll be back!
Mark, nice page! Wish I was still there when you created it. HarbourCam looks awesome...
Nice Boats, Nice page, Really nice place to live. I am trying to move out there. IF I do I'll give you a call and beg a sail.
Cool. Like the Harbor Cam!!
Nice page! Wish we were back in Seattle now, but school for three more years then back to the coolest city on the coast!
Just checking out your loft after it came highly recommended by Peter Best.
Great Set of Pages. Really liked the link to Light houses.
DDDooooooooooD!!! nice site man...keep up the good work.
Love the pics, might come borrowing sometime.
If anyone can tell me where I can get pictures of the great old tall boats let me know THANKS BOB
Loved the pics. I lived in Seattle for three years and I have been in Budapest Hungary for 5 years now...Hmmm what I wouldn't do for some fresh salmon... Keep em coming
Thanks for reminding me why I moved to Sunny Australia! :D Although I don't miss the the wet stuff I do miss the Northwest scenery. Having previously lived in and around Seattle for over 20 years and now 9 years down under, I still call Seattle "Home". Keep up the good work.
Nice site, wish I were there.
Just moved to Indy from Seattle, I miss it so much!! Thanks for the pics. I hope that every one who views does not want to move their. It is too crowded already. But, I'll take the rain over 8 inches of snow anyday!!
Hello from Perth Western Australia Nice scenes ... great strat...
Great pictures. Brings memories of my visit years ago. Aloha for Hilo Hawaii
Hi folks,
I and my friends had a lovlely cruise for 2 h in Seattle waiting for the ferrry to Victoria.
Bjorn
I came, I saw, I wept, I'll be back - It's a bookmark thang
Have a friend moving there in April. Any good thing you can send me to give to her re: housing and all the great things would be greatly appreciated. She's really excited about the move. Of course she will need a job too. Registered Nurse with lots of really good experience in adult and children psych. Likes to work at hospitals. Thanks in advance.
Happy New Year! from Sea to Shining Sea (Charleston, SC) Hi to my friends Donny & Michelle Maurer of Puget Sound if you know them!
Great set up, we are in goderich here, very cold - today. Seattle was my old home, nice to be able to check it out. david
Suave!
Ooh, ahhh - nice site! Nice loft too. Is it rainy there? We have about seven inches of snow in B-town. Get in touch, OK?
Color? Color!? I don see no stinkin color! ohwaitaminute. ppfffffhhht... hey. Hey, like, cool. Your page rocks, even on this old powerbook. Thanks for makin the scene! (Make sure you don't let too many of the pix with sunshine in them out on the net).
This is the best source of info on Seattle I've seen yet!
Interesting site. Area doesn't look any different than when I left it several months for LA.
Wow!! It is GREAT to see home, being out here in Maine (why? I do not know) for school. I miss the water and all those sailboats. It looks like you have a nice one! I'll be back
Wow dude, and I thought I had a lot of toys! I moved from Washington to Hawaii 13 years ago, and guys like you provide me with a much needed fix with my morning coffee. Let me know if you ever visit the big Isl, and bring the strat!
Nice page, I build boats here in Seattle see ya around.
I'll bet we eat more Spam than you do! Way cool page.
Great home page. I'm going to bookmark it so I can better virtually visit my native Seattle. I'll take the grey and rain over the grey and snow of Minneapolis any day.
Hey Mark, Great spot. You're welcome to come shoot from our beach in West Seattle if you like. Keith Brofsky said we need to get together and talk.
Thanks fer the Seattle scenes! I'm homesick fer the HomeTown. But where is the link to the NeedleCam?
Yours is that little "piece of heaven" that we all crave.
We are looking forward to our new hometown, your page has helped make the decision to head that way....
Great boat! Sorry you have to sell it; the interior woodwork is fantastic!
Origanally from the Tri-Citys Washington, I joined the Marine Corps. I got out in '95 and came to Chattanooga to go to school. HERE I AM....:)
A wonderful home page...boquets and flowers. But no tugs as advertised under Puget Sound Collection. You made up for it in your LoftCam highlights. Outstanding. Also, the tanker in the HarborCam highlights is really a container ship. Great entertainment!
Yup, the last person in here was right, no tugs in the Puget Sound Collection. I shall rectify the situtation immediately. The tanker will also be renamed. Nothing like diligent viewers to keep you on your toes. Mark
Life is to short to be bored
Excellent. I've put a bookmark on this page. We spent quite a bit of time in Seattle last summer and loved it. It was the first time we've stopped in your city after having driven by it numerous times.
HeyYa!
NICE pages. And an even NICER boat (Flying Cloud).
I'm just an armchair sailor who dreams of owning a Cheoy Lee myself, one day...
Tom
WOW!
I'm new and you're not! I'll be back when I know more.
Great page(s). The weather here on Kodiak Island is very much like the weather I see in the Webcams. Sometimes I want to move to Arizona by the sea, but I can't find it. Then I remember what California is like and I'm happy to be here.
Great page! The photo captioned "Workhorse" is "my" tug; the "Lucy Franco" of Olympic Tug and Barge, Seattle. She was built in Rhode Isl, is an Alaskan veteran, and now serves us here on the Coast and Puget Sound.
Just a student down in Florida hungry for some hometown news. The pictures were great, just what I needed. Thanks!
Greetings from Dayton, Ohio, Mark - Taras told me you were here, so I had to stop by - really nice Web page, dude - perhaps I can drop by and jam with you again sometime. Janet and I are living here in West Carrollton with two dogs and two cats. Boop boop a doo ! ! !
Great page. Well you seem to like cameras so try out the one point at our beach: http://www.dataplace.nl/dp/pages/foto.htm
Fantastico! Well done. My suggestion is for you to next include pictures of all the various artwork/sculptures on Seattle streets- like the Troll, Lenin, Hammering Man... -ski
Truly a great site for people attracted to the water - like here on the Chesapeake. Looking for sites about sea chanties - to use as part of an interdisciplinary unit for middle school geography - The Voyage of the Mimi. Thanx.
Ahoj!
I was interested to see where was leaving someone who has the same last name than me. Do you have some parents in Quebec, Canada ? It would be a very nice place to sail ! A very long trip, but perhaps back to your roots. The first Lacas came in Quebec nearly 300 years ago. Perhaps would you be interested to share information on your grand -grand- parents. As you probably realized, english is not may native tongue. Au Quebec, nous parlons francais, et nous aimons tout ce qui est artistique. Bravo pour votre site. Salutations d'un lointain cousin (peut-etre)
From Ft. Wright, KY, accross the Ohio River from Cincinnati.
So now I know what you REALLY have been doing with your time over the past year. You have done an excellent job...stay in touch from one x'wolfer later big guy...
I feel sorry for you Mark, about your camera beeing stolen. Harbourcam is a great place for me to watch, because I'm coming to Seattle next summer, all the way from the Netherlands.
Yow! I used to see similar sights every morning when I left for work. Thanks for the shots.
Your pages are works of art! Some of the best I've seen.
Although I partly biased to the cameras and sailboats.
Two years ago I sold my Sea Wolf (CT) 41 to Mike Hagler
at Harbor Mill Marina on Lake Union. And, I miss her!
Yours is beautiful. I haven't browsed all your pages yet,
but, if you haven't added your cruising experiences let me
put in a request...
Land locked in Denver, Colorado but still a fan of those who have lived the life of my goals. To wit; Solo Circumnavigation.
Great place for all us "homesick" people. Been in D.C. for 6 years now and still consider Seattle home! Does anyone have info on Kent-Meridian High School's 10 year reunion this year? Love to hear from ya!
Nice Job
Cleo is a dream cat come true.
hi from downunder, melbourne australia, be in seattle march 11 at boeing
Great Home page man. Made me miss the Great North West. I used to be stationed at Fort Lewis and I fell in love with the area I can not wait untill I graduate from UWF and move up there. Any time you would like to come to Pensacola, Fl, drop me a line. :-) happy happy joy joy
Nice page! Why is it that everyone born and raised in the Pacific N.W., (Seattle for me), is always homesick. I am living in Mass., and my wife is going to divorce me if I don't stop babbling about my real home. I love your pictures and stuff. My brothers(Phreeworld, band),sisters and hundreds of other relatives say hi! Keep up the good work, and maybe we will meet live someday. Steve
Its always a nice day in cyberspace!
Cool Site!
Cool! A Virtual visit to Seattle. I love it.

Cool web page. See you in Asilomar next month!
Excellent page Mark!
Hi Mark, nice site! Brings back memories from my favorite city. I´ve been in Seattle a lot since my grandma and other relatives live there. But I need moore friends. I am a Swedish girl who lives in Uppsala Sweden.I work as a graphic designer and illustrator at an AD-agency called Intra here in Uppsala. If you want to look at our homesite: http://www.intra.se You can even load down a fictiv commersial-movie where I act. Keep in touch, maybe I visit you in Seattle next time. Liselotte
Yo Mark, Neat page bud !
reminds me of why I always return to seattle.
and why I'll probably never live there again.
I have a Cheoy Lee 36' (35' 10") built in 61. Fast cruiser, enjoy her..
X-cellent site. Now I remember why I like to visit my brother up there!
If'n I had my druthers, I'd be in the Seattle area right now!
Please don't hold it against me that my address is from aol! :-) Just wanted to say that I think your site is really amazing and relevant! You have done such a great job! I'm going to be adding to your fine population in several months and thought I would catch up on what's happening out there and this site really helps! PS If you are trying to desuade people from moving up there, this isn't helping! :-)
Mark- greetings from the home of the 96 olympics, Atlanta. You seem to have a very popular site, I was surfing around because i'm considering moving out to Seattle after the Olympics but i don't know to much about it, although i hear it's like OZ. So far everything i've seen looks very promising. Is the music scene as thriving as everyone says, because here in Atlanta there are only a handful of bands that are really good. I'm looking to start another band, but Atlanta is almost dry it seems like. Anyway, i like bands like the verve, spiritualized, spacemen 3, can, loop, julian cope, t-rex, iggy(stooges),krautrock,etc.etc. are there many "psychadelic" for lack of a better word, bands in seattle? just curious. if you have any words of inspiration or can tell me anything about the music scene it would be greatly appreciated. i'm planning a trip out there soon but i'm trying to find out as much as i can prior. smiles for miles g.t.s.
Great Shots!!! Keep it Up. I work on Board A fishing vessel named F.V. Excellence it is presently at Pier 48. Can you get a Shot?
Thanks for the Winslow Homer tribute. Its real Down East stuff, and it'll make great wallpaper!
WOW! We found your page to be one of the greatest on the ever growing net. Don't stop what you're doing!
Great stuff!!!! The wife loves cleo...We had a little black and white cat from the seattle area...the wife named him Seattle Silly (short for sylvester) Love both of your boats..
Great page!!!I am sure you don't sick of hearing that... Anyhow...I will be back...and see what you add... Glad I am your neighbor...*smile*
Nice Job, I live-a-board my Catalna 30 on San Fracnosco Bay. I don't have time to setup a boat-cam or a web page, but I enjoyed yours.
73's
Nice creativity! All this has got to be great for the ego huh?
Where do you find the time?
My ex-wife got my boat ( 18' Boston ) it's just not fair !
My youngest haunts Seattle's streets and theatre district. Will visit in person this summer - your info is preparing me for a "Mom & Dad" reunion. Thanks.
Great Page I really like people who love to SAIL I've sailed the upper great lakes all my life and it's great so take care and Smooth Sailing

BRING ME TO SEATTLE!!!!!!
I was just cruisin' around today and found your page...NICE! I live in Seattle and I am always looking for new ways to enjoy life here.
WOW!!! What a great page. I live in West Seattle and will look at your harbor cam before heading home from Issaquah.
Cool Homepage!! I spent my 3 high school years in Tacoma.(Stadium High School) as an exchange strudent. So, I consider Tacoma and Seattle as my secont home town. (I'm in Tokyo now.) By looking at the wonderful pictures of Puget Sound of Mark's, I got home sick!!! I will visit Seattle in the near future!!
Thanks, Mark.

INTERESTING!
Of all the cameras in all of the lofts in all of the internet...
Hope all is well. Sorry you got to sell part of your fleet.
Chris THAT Corp.
Your assortment of electronic goodies obviously proves that you are far more of an audiophile than even myself...and you have a bitchin' webpage to boot! Did someone help you with it?
We too are rag-bagers. Texas sailing is not quite what you have up there, but the season's a bit drier. We have inlaws in Seattle and were out for a visit a few years ago. Great!
About your site (sight?) -- OUTSTANDING! A dramatic display of an incredible amount of effort and visual understanding. Cams etc., should be a MUST for the desktop wanderer. I'll be telling my friends!
Thank you for sharing your world with the rest of the planet!
Fair Winds, Art
Thanks for being such a WWW citizen... a Webizen?
Mark,
You don't look over 40 ... is that a Seattle thing or what. Lovely pages and pictures.
J.
Nice to see more Cheoy Lees. We live aboard in RI on a 1978 Offshore 38'. Moved up from Fla and miss our friends there with their 1979 36' Cheoy Lee.
I cannot thank you enough for this page. Through your link to the Sea Chanteys page, I found the lyrics for a song that my Dad sang to me when I was young, but that I have not been able to remember the details of. My father passed away before my sons were born, and I wanted to keep a bit of him alive with this song, but could not find it anywhere. Now I can. Thanks again.
The most beautiful and livable place in the world!
LIfe does'nt get much better , keep up the good work.
Sighhhhhhhhhh.
How very pleasant!
A hearty THANK YOU!
Outstanding Mark! And everyone said you weren't going to accomplish anything in your life. Take Care.
Nice preview for my trip in June!
Come check out our new digs, brother......http://www.seanet.com/~picasso/index.htm One World. Let me know what ya think. Peace.....
I miss Seattle! Sniff! Looks like you're keeping an eye on things, thanks.
This is my severaleth visit to your page - still enjoying it. I'm a novice at this WWW-navigation game, but I've become quite addicted to Harbourcam. Maybe I'll get to ride the ferry one day. And your page - what a piggin' stoopendous piece of work. Thanks Mark.
Thanks for the nice views. Now I can tell my friends in other parts of the world that they can see where I live. My home is in Manchester, WA and most of the shots taken of Puget Sound looking West from Seattle are looking right at Manchester. Those white buildings visible behind an off the right tip of Blake Island is where I live. Maybe one day I can set up a cam on this side of the water looking East at Seattle. The sunrises are one of the most beautiful sights that you can see. The water silver, the city gray, and the Cascade mountains glowing with reds and oranges. At dusk the sun reflects off the clouds and the mountains in purple, red, and yellow hues. I love this place.
Moe
Great, fabulous!! Thanks for all the beautiful pictures. Now I can tell all my friends back east and in the midwest to check it out and see where I live! I'm from Bremerton, Washington, just across the Sound from Seattle. Do you see me waving from the ferry?
Mark, Excellent Web site and boat. My wife and I fell in love with Seattle 13 years ago. We visit there every 3 or 4 years and are due to be in the area this summer. I love your sailboat for sale. If I were to move out there, I would be interested in buying it. Thanks for the preview of my upcoming trip.
Raised in Seattle, Mother lives in Port Gamble Bay area. Love the pictures. Wish I was back summering on Bainbridge Island...in the meantime will remain in HOT Arizona. I'll be back......
Oh yeah, really cool page! I'm not only a Seattle native but a mariner. I'm a student at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. So this summer, when you look out on Elliot Bay and see a big containership with "APL" on the side, I'm might be the cadet aboard. I've also been doing some sailing and tug boatin'. Your page reminds me why I miss home so much. Seattle will always be home. Check ya later.
Wow, this is KEWLLLL!!
BEAUTIFUL...
I'm lookin' for those beautiful shots of Seattle...Guess I won't have to look any longer. Thanks for the Experience! :) *****!
High. I'm looking for a mate. Be mine?
Mark you rule. If any of you Bohemian types out in Seattle Know or meet Julia Goldman, a painter contracting in your beautiful city for a couple of weeks, tell her Bob says hi. Thanx.
Great web page. Probably see you on the water. Look for the Overdraft.
A good place to stay a while
Hi, all. It is my pleasure to sign here. I am going to visit the Seattle this summer and I want to get more travelling information about the Seattle. Thanks. Followings are my greeting to everyone in the Seattle in Korean. <È"çÇË¿ä. Ã<ÖÆ"¿¡ »çô ¿©·º?. ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¸¸"ª°ÔµÇ<î '?°©À´Ë´Ù. Happy key stroking...
Incredible stuff!! I was simply surfing for info on Seattle in preparation for a possible move, and thankfully took a detour to your beautiful site. I have a brother already in Seattle, and word has it that 'you guys' are rather protective of your territory and therefore not too friendly/receptive to possible transplants. If you're of the same mindset, you should know that your pages do nothing but entice the outsider....Keep it up!
I'm new on the computer - this is my first visit anywhere, and I thought a good place to start would be at home (I'm a Seattalite stuck in Chicago...) Thanks for the memories!
Enjoyed your sight. hope many sunny days in your future
Just had time to put you in my bookmarks, looks like a place I would like to visit again ,but right now I gotta go, I mean really!!
Hey Now! Can your strat. play Ripple? Show me....
Looking for info on cruising the San Juans
Mark, great web page! Nice backgrounds and your camera is a real nice addition. As an ex seattle person I check it every day to see what the weather is like in my old home town. Thanks for putting it up and smooth sailing to you!
GREAT HOMEPAGE!!!
As a landlocked midwesterner I think the page is terrific. I have visited Seattle in the past and I'm particularly impressed with the live-cams. I could look at the water for hours. I also thought that the link to traffic was really cool, Based on my past experiences dealing with Seattle traffic, (Amongst the worst I've ever encountered) this link is terrific.
Great job. Your Home page is one of the best I've seen. Keep up the good work. I'll be back!
Rich Herberts St. Louis, MO. USA
I'm a friend of a whole swathe of the Nw cyber crowd. I used to run the Black Citroên in fremont. Glad to see you. Thanx for the site.
'guess I should've turned left @ Albequerque, nice view though
Those Winslow Homer paintings were really cool! Check out the Boston Museum of Fine Arts for an exhibit of a lot of his paintings. They're neat!! : )
Hi cuz your page is fantastic
Hey Mark,
Nice to see another old hippie has found his digital niche. The Indian blanket on this page is my favorite! Hope to hear from you again soon!
Been sailin' these Puget Sound waters for two decades. I want to do some exploring of B.C. waters in small craft, rowing/sailing combo's. Anyone into this, PLEASE e-mail me. Good stuff here!
Thanks for the beautiful pictures! My wife and I are planning to visit Seattle this summer. Your page has really whetted my appetite. It will be great to get away from the dry, dusty, flat, treeless plains of Texas and get into your town's topography.
For a displaced Seattleitte, your page is a sight for sore eyes. It's one of the best around! I spent an hour watching the traffic jams update, while kicking back and thanking God I'm not on those commutes anymore. Thanks for the memories!
JayBob Barrett
p.s. -- for all you about to visit Seattle: don't forget Fremont, The Center of the Known Universe.
Calgon, take me to Seattle!!! I've just returned to the frozen wasteland of Minneapolis from a visit to your amazing city, and I'm very sad I couldn't stay.....will definately be back there and here!! Glad I found your killer site...M.
Yes, yes, yes, this really is the way it is. Or could be, if enough Seattlites got a little vision. It's in short supply these days, and who can be blamed, given the harsh realities of the times, for myopia? Mark sees further than most of us, thank goodness: he shows us where we are and what it's all about -- the life around us and in us.
Thank you, Mark.
I think this is a marvelous offering. Thanks. See you again for sure
Greetings Earthling!!!
Thanks for the view of home. We are many miles' many roads, many worlds from it. The Lady Washington was my home for a year, I'm in the pictures you took from your boat. Moe and I would like to offer you our hands in holy, um, matress mony. Or at least come, and visit. We'll get back to you to work out the details. La la. If you go down to Pier fifty four and see the Lady Wa, please tell my crew I miss them. Big wet sloppy kisses to you and, um, yours. With love from Boulder,CO, nederland,co...
I'm physically in Atlanta, but my heart is in Seattle...
Really great page. I especially like the the cameras that look at the bay. Lots of cool links and such.
After seeing your page, I have decided to move back to Seattle.
Darlin, you have just about the most creative and interesting home page I have seen...stumbled onto you by accident, and glad I did. Never been to Seattle, but now plan to visit there. Greetings from Tulsa,OK.
Mark, I found you!! A (web) site for sore eyes, stranger.
Great site, thanks. we often attend hair shows in seattle and love the city.
Whelmed, most whelmed. Miss Monster (my cat) sends meows to Cleo.
Beautiful site! Not only do I enjoy sailing, but I really love checking out other folks' homes!! Ideas, mate. Thanks for taking me on a nice lunch break through you space. Hey, I LOVE sailing!! So, if you ever need a fabulous cook or crew, email me! Bye1
May you always sail in deep water.
Thor
Amazing site. Nice to know what is going on on the other side of the world. Keep it up.
Hello there, great pages! I may live in Mass., but my heart lies with my birthplace, Seattle. You may have heard of my brothers band 'PHREEWORLD'? Keep it up. Steve P.
Excellent pictures. I can't wait to get back up there.
Amazing - and my wife said a new computer was overkill...we lived on queen anne, highland drive for 2 years - do i miss the view...thanks. if you're ever in oz...
Just dropped in to look around. Kind of makes me homesick. I've sailed my Islander 30' named M'Lady in the Puget Sound for the past 8 years. M'Lady and I are in the Gulf of Mexico now along the Texas coast line... Nice home page, Thanks for all the work you've put in.
Excellent Graphics....Surfing, Sailing, & SKA.
pretty cool site. let's do lunch.
Coming to Seattle in two weeks. Looking for fun. Your pages have shown me some already! Very cool......
Have heard great things about Seattle from a friend of mine for years. It sounds so good I may have to visit just to see if all is true. Thanks for the preview. Ed
Ahoy!! Take me sailing!!!!!!! Great site you have!! :)
Very nice page. I've referenced your harbor cam on my own page so people can see a live shot of Elliott Bay. Thanks.
Dave dkenady@prostar.com http://www.prostar.com/web/gtraffic/main.htm
Just checking in from the land of Oz. I was in Seattle in May and had a great day's fishing with my nephew Bill Polk who lives at Alki Point. Love your city (especially Pike's Market". So long and thanks for the fish!
I like it.
Hey Mark!
Fine-tastic pages! I lived in the area for about 3 years (Auburn, Edmonds, & Lynnwood). Great to see the ol' places again! Hang in there. I shall return (to your site and Seattle)
Just looking around. You're great 'cause you're helping me see what's out there...I'm moving soon. Cool to know where I'm moving *to*. Thanks - Jeanine
I'm from Yakima and am heading your way for the weekend. I really appreciate the effort you put into this. Nicely done!
Appreciate your cam views! i'm a seattle expatriate, now in dallas. Can't wait to move back.
Howdy Mark! We're finally getting back online, and yes we will get a better server soon! This one wouldn't show me your cool images (my modem needs growth pills too). Anyway, still would like to get together soon for a beer like we said. I'll be in town quite a bit next week... what's yours look like? Thanks again for staying in touch... kb
This is a wonderful site for all those of us who wish we were in Seattle right now! My wife lived in Tacoma for many years and we travel to Washington often. Thanks again!
Jerry French/Mary Frandsen - Midland, Michigan
I am tranfering to Seattle from a place that I won't mention or you might think ill of me. I only been to Seattle twice not including virtual visits. The more I know about Seattle the kewler I think it is. Thanks for letting me look in on you. I was considering a loft in the downtown area but after my visit you your place I know its what I want. Thanks again and great site!!
MARK,GREAT WORK.WE ARE MOVING OUT OF STATE BUT WILL STAY IN TOUCH THROUGH YOUR SITE.SEATTLE WILL REMAIN WITH US. PEACE BROTHER.
Hey, How's the fishing up there in Seattle? I have always wanted to go up for the Salmon run. Are they as much fun to catch as I hope? I enjoyed the view from the Harbor Cam. Do you ever pan towards the Tower (Space needle?)? Thanks again for the view. If you get the chance take a look down our way on the weather links.
Stationed in Seattle two years ago and lived in military housing in Discovery Park now coming home in 4 months with the video shots I'm convincing neighbor to come with. thanks
Having lived in Seattle a few years ago, its great to be able to see the city again daily!!!! Wow!!
!!!!Gee THANK YOU you make it possible for me to connect with your amazing , wonderful , unique city where my son lives on Capital Hill. I understand why he left "home" to move to Seattle, our visits once a year are just not enough to see him or your phnominal city (get the air fares down). Sorry your weather is so hot now - but not really you people deserve some bad things like the rest of us unfortunate people who can't live in Seattle have to live with. You can bet I will be back to your sit for vists THANKS AGAIN. A lonely mom
Col site, Mark. Moved away from Seattle 2 years ago and still miss it.
Absolutely the coolest. Such delight and entertainment has this brought in such a blindingly short two hours. Will be in Seattle 8/2/96 for family event.

Excellent work! The heck with bookmarks, I'm just gonna move there!
Best site for showing Seattle and the Great PNW to those of us not lucky enough to live here. Just sending URL to another friend who lives on the Isle of Wight (South of England Coast). They are having Scandia Life Cowes Week - the mother of all sailing races. Keep up the GREAT JOB!!
Yo. Eagle, way to land that mother! I don't think I'll ever save anyone's life who's as slick as you are under the gun. No pun intended.
Rock on Free Bird
While looking for a boat I found about the best layed out WEB sites, YOUR's!!
Mark thanks for the view of Seattle. That's home to me(i grew uo in Olympia). Trying to talk better half into moving up there soon. Keep up the good work. If you know of other sites with live camera feeds of the area please let me know. I need all the ammo i can get to talk her into moving...
MY, You're a popular guy! I can see why, though. & I left my heart in Seattle when I visited last December and once again in April. Your page is now a bookmark so I can check the weather in my favorite place on earth.
Awesome, I'm sure I will spend a great deal of time at this beautiful site. You have done a tremendous job!! Many many thanks. Jean
You misspelled you're...Now that you're on here... But I enjoyed the visit. TKS!
Use to live in Sliverdale,Wa, on the other side of Puget Sound. I really enjoyed riding the Ferries, visiting the Seattle Science Center, and wathcing the Mariners play. There is a pretty good church in Bremerton on Kitty Hawk Drive, Calvery Baptist Church. It's an Independent Bible beleaving Church that preaches the Blood of Christ. So don't go unless ya want to hear the truth of the Bible!!!
really cool page. Go visit mine and sign y guestbook it is at http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/1418/index.html
great site!!
Excellent shots. Will be moving out hopefully in 2-3 years. Nice page.
Nice shots. I miss Seattle. This is as close as I can get
Dam the dams...Roll on Columbia
Beautiful! Making our second visit over Thanksgiving.
Thank you kindly for the cyber-tour of your place, and the enthusiastic web-page. Keep up the good work!
I think I smell fish. What do you feed your cat? I love Seattle, it is so .... well.. so wet! Which reminds me, what the heck are you doin lately? We all miss you in Redondo.
A very nice "page" congratulations. Lot's more cameras than Boulder and better organized material to my taste. Hope you are independently wealthy and can keep up the good work. Glen
Hello from Sonora, California. Just got back from visiting my kid sister in Bremerton. I loved Seattle. Pretty cool page. I'll be back.
Mark, Great site. I sail my Swan 43 up to the Juans from Newport Or every year. Usually get to the City for a good dinner before I go north. I'll wave next time by.
John
Greeting from Maple Valley! Just stumbled across you web page. Looks interesting to explore! Hard to read the text on this guestbook page, though. Try another pattern. (Mark replys: Try a Macintosh!)
Nice page, Mark. Use to live in Tacoma, sure miss the area. Thanks for the camera shots, wish I had $20,000 for the boat.
I found your cam page while searching for High Seas. They make foul weather gear (clothing). We will need new gear for the winter. Yes, Galveston Bay is cold on a 28' Newport. Any help in locating this company would be greatly appreciated. Good page. I will return.
I'm a formal Seattleite living in NC! This is like a nostalgia rush!!! Thanks so much!!! JessaD.
I really like the looks of your home pages. I felt like I was on the west coast instead of the east coast.
I gave the wrong e-mail address so here's the right one.
Nice to be here !!!
:) from Ragnar
I was in Seattle all summer (August 5th to August 17th) on my last vacation. It is true that Seattlites don't tan -- they rust. What ever happend to Dixie Lee Ray?
Dang Mark! This page kicks ass! I am creating my own page with NetScape, and just started about 20 minutes ago. I am looking for ideas. I hope I can get to this stature =) Love the page again, I will visit frequently I am sure.
Excellent man... I just moved away two days ago. I miss Seattle already. Keep it up.
Wonderful! Have lived in the desert for 24 years, and I am planning to relocate next May. Is it possible to be home sick before you get there? Thanks for the shots.
Your website is great! Our son and his fiance live in Seattle. We visited on Labor Day weekend. Fantastic city, Bumbershoot was a hoot. Driving into the city I saw Alkai Point and said to Tim, "That is the view we see on the Harbor Cam."
We hope you can keep up the good work. It makes us feel like Tim and Linda are not quite so far away from Oklahoma City when we can look at the live cam shots and see what kind of a day it is there.
Thank you for providing this service.
Nice site. My wife is visiting your fair city in november and this has been a real nice way to get a preview of whats ahead. thanks!!
I enjoyed your site.
Love your pages, man! Just returned to home in Pensacola, FL 10 days ago and ready to move up there in a heartbeat! We visited our daughter "the SeaFirst Visa girl" to see her acting in CHEAP at ACT. We'll be back to your beautiful city, count on it! P
Excellent creative effort, I enjoyed my visit to your pages very much. Try Lake Superior sometime- some of the best sailing in the world. Beautiful Exciting Empty of people in comparison to many cruising areas Lake Superior = San Juans + Ice
Thanks PAL! Now I will never get any work done! Wonderful site! (St. Louis, MO orig.Nespelem, WA)
Nifty page, Skipper. My company may be relocating me from Virginia to Seattle...your pages have eased my mind. :)
Great site! Loved the photos of your 27' Choy Lee; hope you find a good home for her.
My pastime is most definately sailing as well: I've sailed antique turnabouts, 118' schooners, and everything in between.
I hope to visit Seattle the next time I am on the West Coast.
Cheers & Hard-a-lee!
Here's looking at you from the opposite corner, Miami.
great pix and web site. arriving on nov 4 for a few days and looking forward to it thanx to your site.
Nice homepage
A VERY nice page! Thanks! By the way, views of my part of the country, Florida, are provided by a camera @ tng.net (Cape Canaveral Region).
Great to look at Seattle!
Good work in deed, Mark. Moving to Seattle in two years. See you.
Can't wait until I have time to look at your page. I need realistic information - relocating to Seattle soon. See ya.
Definitely one of the better ways to show someone where you've been is taking them on a virtual tour. Your site captures alot of the charm of Seattle (but no flying fish from the Farmers Market?). Good job.
What a great trip. Keep your beam in the water. I'll be back to visit again!
I like it. Yeah, I like it.
Excellent presentation. Later.
Truly beatiful-is this Internet amazing or what? 1st saw Seattle from the saddle of my 10-speed after 13 days riding from Kalispel. (The only day it rained..!) The image that has always stayed with me is Mt. Ranier from the U of W campus. It was framed by 2 rows of junipers that fell away down a gently terraced slope towards Lake Washington. Thanks.
Sam
I have been looking at the harbor cam and it is always the same. . . . I mean, it's a beautiful picture but I went to school at UW and it scenery was not eternal but ever-changing. (Mark replys: Sorry it was crashed)
You are one popular fellow. Had a good time, where's the wine?
Hey, cool site. I really thought the harbor and loft cam pictures were excellant.
We recently visited seattle and are moving there soon. I think this is really neat.
This is the first time I've accessed a "page", any page!& this is cool! Got you thru the AT&T Master Card Page! , Guess you'd better charge for it next time? Huh? Haven't got my Hardware yet, but soon will. Later...from the Cells of a "Triple 777", Boeing, Boeing,... I'm gone!
Dude, You have some nice. Sail stuff that is. Very nice boat shot's..
Great page! Sound pics, Top info. never been to Seattle. But have a friend in the Elliot Bay area who I hope to visit. I understand this is the place to be for the best mountain biking in the USA Take it easy.
The total picture is a true work of art. Great job. Well I don't think that these or any other words will do you justice. Thanks.
fun thing to do when it's dark in the east (florida)
Good page!
I am a sailor and musician too. I've been to Seattle once and wanted to be a bit nostalgic when I found your home page with the camera Wievs. Exelent. Keep up the good work. Matts Sweden.
Perhaps one day I'll immigrate to Seattle it seems a lot better than Johannesburg, South Africa. At least you have the ocean at your doorstep - I seem to be attached to the ocean..... & keep the pictures rolling in so that I can get an idea of this city and it's vibe.
Enjoyed hanging in Seattle for 5 minutes today. I'll spend more time next week. For now, I must get back to Boston.
Great Page, Great Links...The Pacific Northwest is really represented well! Many thanks from a Nor'west NATIVE. <<< QUEENSRYCHE RULES!!! >>>
Kickin' it down in San Francisco. Want to go to school at UW. Move to Ferncliff, WA. Love Wash.
the northwest is the only place to live. but don't tell
Hi! It would be nice to visit seattle again its been four years since last time, and it is a very nice city.
Hey! Nice shots of the harbor! Never been to Seattle, but would love to see it! Reminds me of my home state, Maine. Gook luck and great pages! Thanks!
We are moving to Seattle this summer from Virginia Beach. Thanks for a look ahead and we will be visiting your home page often until we get there!
Great pages - great place to go, especially since I'm one of those Seattle natives transplaced to Tennessee. Thanks for doing this for us. Carl Ross - Ross' Cove, Tennessee
Nice job on your site! I'm local Seattle, but love visting your page, as the links are super. Just another one of many great sites based in this city.
I love the photos! Great set-up! I want to move to Seattle when I get older! You convinced me!
Neat page and cam shots. Happy sailing from another sailing dude from Port Townsend!
Glad to be back home after six years away in beautiful Kentucky.
You can almost see where I live on Bainbridge! Well, not quite, but Alki Point is good enough for me. There's nothing like that out here at school in Milwaukee.
Really miss beautiful SEATTLE,WA., lived there from 84 till 90. Now in the ROCKY MOUNTAINS,CO.
I DREAM of living in Seattle. Thanks for the shots. Got any of the recent snow storm??
Missing home desperately. Your site does a fine job of tickling my memories from deep within. Thanks
Really terrific pix and page. This is one of the reasons I waited so long to get on the Net, who can work when there are pages like this waiting to be discovered. Thanks for a great break from work.
ALOHA CUZ! DA KINE SITE. MAKES ME LONG FOR THE BITCHIN' 'ART SCHOOL' CRAZY DAYS 86'-88'. NOW THAT WAS AN EXCELENT TIME TO CRUISE THE U-DIST AND SEATTLE MUSIC SCENE! KEEP UP GOOD WORK DUDE. MAHALO!
To another who lives in a city on the water. It's pretty nice. From the NorthCoast of America -- Cleveland
The perfect lifestyle: Seattle in the summer and Phoenix in the winter! Thanks for bringing back some good memories!
Never been to the West Coast - thanks for your introduction!!! (I'm on someone else's email - he'll forward any info to me, he says . . .)
When then! A night surfing and your page appeared. Good deal!
It was nice to be able to see the weather back home while I was away.
Nice site. Anyone out there want to help save the Tall Ship "Regina Maris". She's a 140 ft Barkentine located at Greenport Long Island NY. She used to chart the migration patterns of the Humpback whale and her vouyages were instrumental in establishing world wide treaties that limited the mass slaughter of these beautiful mammals. She also helped smuggle Jewish refugees from Europe during WWII' and ran blockades to Finland to help bring men and supplies to halt the Russian invasion.
She's a beautiful ship, and part of our human history. If you can donate a few dollars, you can call the ship directly at 516-477-2121.
Our winery is going to donate $3.00 from everycase of wine that we sell.
Peace
Awesome homepage! Howdy fellow WHS grad. Glad to see you are still pursuing your music. Seen any other Warriors lately?
When I was discharged from the Army after WWII Seattle was my first choice for a residence. It didn't happen. I now live in eastern Washington, but thanks to this fine Home Page I can visit Seattle daily. It is really great that you put such a nice collection here for the public to enjoy. Thanks! Bob
Great Page! Probably the best I've seen.
Excellent. Great pictures and page layout.
Nice site man. Need a better shot of your cat.
A very nice home page! I live to your north, on Camano I., and have a Cape Dory25D moored at Anacortes. Isn't sailing the greatest thing since any kind of bread!!? At the risk of being out of sync with all those compliments above I think you should use another color rather than that green against the brown you use. It's difficult to read at times. Other than that little critique it's a great home page and a nice way for others to vicariously visit this great area in which we live. Thanks for your work!
Hello again. Ignore what I just said about the color green you use. I had the brightness turned down too much on my computer. I went back and looked, turned up the knob, and it looks great! Mea culpa!
Great site! Live in Milwaukee, want to be in Seattle. Spend as much time there as possible. I will be checking out your whenever I plan on heading west.
From one maritime city dweller to another - your loft view is ace! Your site has inspired me to set up a cam view of Liverpool's famous waterfont & skyline.
Have a cracking Christmas.....Paul
Hey, nice site. I'll be back. Love your links too. I wish I'd known about your harbour cams a couple of weeks ago when I brought the Malaga in, close hauled, in 20-25 knots of wind. I'm sure we made quite the picture.
Let me know if you ever bring your boat south towards Olympia and I'll meet you off Johnson Point.
BC. SV Malaga
Great page! Lot's of good local stuff. Thanx for all the cool links.
I used to live in SEATTLE. I enjoyed the city every where I wanted to see thru your sight. Thanks a lot.
I've stopped by several times. Always enjoyed browsing your site. I'm going to put a link to you in my parish's web page. Hope that's ok. We are in southwest WA and I'm giving information on places of local interest to whom-ever.
Great nautical links. You should contact Andy Marshall, head of THD Electronics in Seattle for awesome Amps (used by the Stones, Fab. T-Birds, etc).
Hi, Mark Great Page, Can you help me get a live-cam? I also have a great view I would like to share. Thanks, John@VistaCom1@AOL

With your camera of Alki Point you can almost see my house, pretty cool. Just don't zoom in!!
Hi! Just had to check your cam to see what the recent blizzard was like. Twelve inches never looked so good. Shovel a little of it into an ice chest and ship it down here to Memphis. We don't see that much snow in a lifetime. Seattle's a beautiful city! Thanks for the pictures.
I came looking for the big storm photos, and found much more. hello from orlando fl.

Normally I just get homesick and count the days until my long exile to the deserts of Arizona is done and I can move home to the Emerald City.
But your pages wrench the heart.
I enjoyed the visit, envy your boat, covet your loft (does it come in family size?) and studio...and my son digs your cat.

great job, mark.i'm a boeing backeaster who has been to seattle a few times on business and always look to return.my favorite spot ? sitting down on mt. ranier at about 9,000 ft. and wondering what it's all about!
to tell you what a great job you have done would be cliche at this point......say, can you put a camera in my parent's house so i can see what they're up to? they live in Issaquah. I am in West Virginia and not loving it. did I mention that this is my first time on-line?
I grew up in Kirkland so you could say I'm a surburbian brat. I now live in Derry in Northern Ireland where I teach elelmentary school in a little village called Sion Mills. Your site brought back great memories of growing up on Puget Sound, going through the locks on our tugboat and the mountains reminded me of many days spent skiing up at Alpental. In ireland, we don't ski but I do surf. Thanks -- for your site! Chris
E. DUNDEE, IL Great Site! Any info on your neighbors to the north? We hope to come west in September and would appreciate interesting sites, places to eat (sea food especially), etc.
Enjoying the web page. Will be 'computerless' March 1, so have to do alot of printing. Maybe I will move to Seattle one day. I dream of it often

I live in Southhhhhgate....Rancho Cucamonga, California. But I was a Seattlite once. Actually, I still am... but I have to be careful: I'm in California where they hurl 'Lakers' at the 'Sonics' whenever possible! Beware! And thanks for a very fine 'page' set. W.
Back in '86, we lived in Bremerton, toured the Olympic peninsula, took the ferry to Seattle, hung out on the wharf and enjoyed Pike's Place Market, climbed the trails of Mt. St. Helen and Ranier, visited Snoqualmie Falls and had tons of adventures ...we especially enjoyed the sunsets from the Dungeoness Spit and Hurricane Ridge, and all the crazy driftwood out on the Pacific coast... The fort at Port Townsend was a favorite day trip-climbing around the location of the Officer and A Gentleman's shooting. My girls are teenagers now and all four say they would still love to move back to Washington!!!! We live in Atlanta, GA and love it here, but WA will always be special.

Hello, I am originally from Florida but have been living in Seattle for the past 12 years. It is beautiful up here. I am going to be moving back down to Florida this summer (97) and I am happy to know that I can keep in touch with Seattle through this web site. I'm in beautiful downtown Kansas City Mo. I haven't been to Seattle in a few years now but have always loved it when I have visited. I'll be looking for all the cams now.
Laissez Faire City Headquarters, San Jose, Costa Rica. How about some more pictures of that boat? Having seen the real thing, the distant picture just does not do it justice. When do we get Marina Cam? Doesn't Seattle have Ricochet? How about Flying Cloud Cam live sailing footage from Puget Sound via Ricochet wireless internet? Some of us less fortunate land-locked souls could be given virtual absolution by a little live sailing footage on a classic yacht.
dooh

I live in Vlaardingen, The Netherlands. I was searching the WEB for a city map of Seattle. Although your site is very beautifull I do miss a map (or at least a hint/link) of Seattle. Best Regards Ad Pronk
Mark- Great website...was searchin' for good places to hangout...music, food, late night stuff in the Big S. Arriving this Friday to camp Olympic penninsula...Sunday & Monday in "town". Any suggestions?
Checking in from 110 degree Sacramento, CA valley. Bleah! Found your page whilst looking into employment opportunities at the UofW Medical Center. Seriously attempting relocation. Had elderly family members in Seattle, but last uncle recently departed (permanently, if you know what I mean). So, will have to take up the search on my own. Returned in June from 4 mos. study in Europe based in Florence, Italy)with frequent "side-trips" to Scotland, land of wonderfully gray skies.Made me realize I couldn't stay in CA any longer, and as don't see myself moving to GB anytime soon, decided to turn to similar Seattle. Its where the family once lived, so why not start there again?! Besides, the music scene down here stinks. In any event (probably more than you wanted to know, sorry), thanks for the page and links info. Making my job to secure employment and housing much easier and a lot more enjoyable. So, hopefully sooner than later, I and cat will be transplanted a lifetime away from this hellish heat pit.
Hey, did you know your boat Flying Cloud has the same name as my great x6 grandfather's boat which made extremely important voyages aroung England and Maine in 1870? Just thought you'd like to know. Oh yeah.. I'm from NH
